Alpha at St George's (with St Matthew's)

We are joining with our friends at St George's Church to host the Alpha course early in 2015.

Alpha will start on Sunday 4 January, 2015, 2pm - 4pm, at St George's Church, Buxton Road, Heaviley and will continue weekly for around 12 weeks (some later sessions will be held here at St Matthew's).

Afternoon tea will be provided and there will be activities for children.

Alpha is an opportunity to freely explore the basics of the Christian faith, with each session based on a short talk followed by informal discussions.

You will not be put under any pressure to speak or answer questions, and if you feel at any point that Alpha is not for you, that's not a problem. There is no pressure or follow up.
Alpha is open to anyone who is curious. There is no charge, although we thank you in advance for any voluntary contributions towards the cost of afternoon tea.
