Family Fun Day 2011

We didn't let the weather stop us from having fun on our Fun Day!

We had a wonderful day, with church and community coming together. We had support from the local fire crew (the children loved climbing in the fire engine and wearing the helmets), local scouts, Stockport and District MIND (mental health charity), Friends of Avondale, the Mothers Union, St Matthew's Primary School, Edgeley and Cheadle Heath Sure Start Children's Centre, as well as lots of information about St Matthew's church and the Christian faith. We were entertained by the Stockport Silver Band, Stockport Community Choir and our very own St Matthew's choir. The children were thoroughly entertained with puppet shows, bouncy castles, crafts and painted toast.

It was an amazing day!
