The Revd David Brewster is the Vicar of the parish.

David was born in Harrogate on 17th December 1968, where he lived until moving away to study music at the London College of Music. After graduating he worked for six years in retail for Royal Doulton and Wedgewood, before training in Durham for ordination.

 

David served for three and a half years in Birkenhead before moving to Stockport, where he has been since 2003. He serves as one of the Stockport Deanery reps on the Diocesan Synod.

 

He is married to Lucy and they have three children, Christopher, Rebecca and Matthew.

The Revd Sue Mayo is the Assistant Curate licensed to the parish.

Sue was born in Liverpool and came to Manchester in the 1970s to train as a teacher. She taught English and Drama for a short time before going on to work as a theatre director for many years. Her last job was as the Producer of Channel 4’s Brookside. She is currently the team Leader for Christians in Schools Trust in Stockport, where she is a Christian Schools Worker in a number of high schools, including Stockport Academy. Sue was ordained Deacon in July 2010 to Stockport Schools Ministry and as Assistant Curate to the Parish. She is married to Ed and has two children: Tom, who is a teacher of English in Brazil; and Jenny, who is married to Andrew and is Curate at Norbury Parish Church. She likes reading, music, travel and Everton Football Club. Sue was ordained as a Priest in a service at Chester Cathedral on Saturday 18th June 2011.

The Revd Julie Johnson is the Assistant Priest licensed to the parish.

On retirement from her paid employment within the Health Service, Julie moved from Lincolnshire to Stockport to be near her family, and now lives in Davenport and works across the Parish of Edgeley and Cheadle Heath where needed.
