Summer Fair 2010

The sun shone down on the Edgeley and Cheadle Heath summer fair at St Matthew's church on Saturday 3rd July - and a good time was had by all!

Children enjoyed face-painting, bobbing frogs and bouncy castles, whilst the adults shopped at the various stalls, treating themselves to books, plants, flowers, jams and preserves, cards, photographs and African jewellery...as well as rafffle tickets and tombolas!  And all the while, the band played on! How wonderful it was to hear the Stockport Silver Band playing for us throughout the afternoon!

Inside the beautiful church, people enjoyed a wide range of treats - from sandwiches and cakes to yummy strawberry scones! And with a BBQ fired up outside, what more could anyone ask!
