Building our future

We have a project, currently at the planning stage, to build a new community centre by the side of the church. This will have a cafe/foyer area, a parish office, meeting rooms, a large hall, a kitchen, and better toilet facilities. At the same time we will open up the interior of the church to make a more flexible space, suitable for different styles of worship as well as for performance and display, with a creche area, better disabled access and a more open and welcoming entrance. All this will be done in a way that is sensitive to the historic character of the building and which will enhance it both internally and externally. This is an exciting project aimed at providing excellent facilities not just for the church but for the whole community.
