(8 mins) In this present climate we’re all living on a budget. Take the following items of expenditure and rank them in order of importance.
As you go, discuss why you would place each item where you have(eg we choose value brands of food so we can have treats; we keep cloths till they wear our to save for a holiday).

Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-15

In verses 6-9, Paul uses an agricultural illustration. Don’t expect to get a big crop if you skimp in your sowing.
2i. What reasons does Paul give for us being generous? 7 – God loves one who gives generously
8 – God is able to give more than we need Do you believe / have you found this to be true?
2ii. What would you say to someone who says I can’t give, I have no money to spare? Is ‘a bit’ / ‘what you can’ enough?
In verses 10-11, Paul seems to promise that if we are generous, God will always give us what we need.
